The first day of the Pepsi Holiday Tournament at Bethany Lutheran College saw the defending champions from Maple River defeat Mankato Loyola 60-31, Fairmont thumped NRHEG 100-42. LCWM edged MVL 68-57, and finally St. Croix Lutheran beat St. Clair by ten, 68-58.
