The latest state high school rankings are out, and the Mankato East girls' basketball team is back in 3-A poll.
The Cougars jumped up to 7th after taking down previously 5th ranked Marshall.
The Tigers dropped to 8th.
Mankato East joins New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva as the local girls teams in the rankings.
The Panthers maintained their number-two ranking in 2-A.
On the boys side, Saint Peter is now the only ranked team after Mankato West and Martin County West were both bumped from their respective polls.
