ELDORA, IA -
A hunter in Iowa is recovering after shooting himself in the foot.
The incident happened near Eldora or south of Mason City.
Officials say Tim Oelschlager shot himself Saturday morning.
Apparently, the 53-year-old was getting into a pickup truck, when his shotgun discharged and Oelschlager was hit in the foot.
The man was airlifted to the University of Iowa hospital in Iowa City. There is no word on his condition.
