Noaker anticipates it will be at least 18 months before this case will be set for trial.

The parents accused of starving their eight-year-old adopted son to the point where he weighed only 35 pounds, plead not guilty.
Mona and Russell Hauer were in Nicollet County Court today facing child neglect and malicious punishment charges stemming from September.
Over the next several weeks lawyers from both sides will submit arguments concerning whether the children will have to testify in court.
Chris Rosengren, the Hauer's attorney in the criminal matter says, "They've made a motion to put the statements into evidence in lieu of live testimony. We maintain that the confrontation clause in both the United States and the Minnesota Constitution entitles defendants to have their accusers testify against them in open court."
Trial dates for the Hauers have been set for May and June later this year.
