The MSU men's hockey team looked to extend its winning streak to three games against Providence on Friday night. It would go to overtime with Johnny McInnis feeding Chase Grant who put it in to give the Mavericks the 4-3 victory.
The MSU basketball teams swept Augustana on the road. The women upset the 5th ranked Vikings 80-79 behind a career high 35 from Ali Wilkinson. The 21st ranked Mavericks men's team trailed by six at halftime, but go on to beat the Vikes 60-48.
