Late this afternoon they provided tours of the brewery to hundreds of visitors. When they brewery first opened last year, they were the first production brewery to make beer in Mankato since 1967. They currently have 4 varieties available...their latest release...an Indian Pale Ale. Co-founder Tim Tupy says, "We've had a lot of really great fans that have come down here for filling their half gallon jugs to take home or in our tap room they have a beer but also for people that haven't been here before just to kind of come and check it out and see what's all going on."

To celebrate a successful year of business the Bitterroot Band will perform at the anniversary party tonight at seven. Admission to tonight's event is free, but there are a limited number of tickets.
