Martin Luther High School's development director Marge Thiesse says, "We really want every student to be able to attend Martin Luther High School."

But with tuition ranging costing close to $6,000, fundraisers like this are necessary to provide tuition aid to many students at Northrop's Martin Luther High School. For the past nine years the school has held it's annual antiques auction. Thiesse says, "People really bring in some interesting collections."

Auction aficionado Ida Rae Roessier attends this event every year. Roessier says, "I think everything that is old because it has a history to it."

And as big bidders purchase thousands of items from the past. Student Effie Bentz says, "The quality of the education is so good."

They also are investing in the future. Bentz says, "We're growing up in the atmosphere with god kind of at the center and it just brings us all together."
