It's a break in situation you don't normally hear about, andthe culprit isn't even human.

Earlier this morning a deer reportedly broke through a glasswindow outside of Mason City high school.

Responding officers say a heard of the animals had gatherednear the front entrance and they got scared when a number of kids arrived atthe school for a cheer leading camp

The deer then fled the scene through the snow, leaving hoofprints and traces of blood.

Mason city police say they attempted to help the deer,but we unable to track it.
