St. Peter, MN -

The attorney for a former Nicollet public school employee accused of stealing money from the school, has asked for a continuance in the case because they are waiting for results of a mental health evaluation. Former Dean of Students and activities director Justin Berg is accused of taking nearly $1,500.00 from school concession stands and athletic events. This morning in Nicollet County court, Berg's attorney, John Baker, told the judge that Berg is a veteran going through some psychiatric issues and he needs the results of the evaluation, in order to properly defend his client. The continuance was granted and Berg's next court appearance is set for April 2nd.
