The official filing period to fill Terry Morrow's seat in the Minnesota House Of Representatives is now open. We told you yesterday that Governor Dayton has set February 12th as the date for the special election. Starting today, through five p.m., Tuesday, January 15th, residents of District 19A in Blue Earth County, Le Sueur County or Nicollet County, can file in-person or by mail to one of these locations:

Le Sueur County Elections, 88 S Park Ave., Le Center, MN 56057 PH: 507.357.2251

Nicollet County Elections, 501 S Minnesota Ave., St Peter, MN 56082 PH: 507.934.0348

According to the Minnesota secretary of state, if needed, a special primary election would be held on Tuesday, January 29^th.
