You can tell the flu and other seasonal cough and colds are going around just by visiting the store.
At Hy-Vee in Downtown Mankato, pharmacists say Tamiflu and even non-prescription meds are quickly being bought up.
In fact,a store spokesperson says there's a recent shortage of the children's Tamiflu.
No Hy-Vee consumers have been turned away at the pharmacy counter downtown, but demand for meds continues to remain high.
"I think this is the busiest flu season I've ever seen, said Mark Erickson, a pharmacist with Hy-Vee. "I remember some years past, I remember the big H1N1, and I think we are busier now, earlier in the year than we've ever been."
Pharmacists say they tend to see higher number of younger and older people getting meds during flu season.
