ELYSIAN, Minn. -

A truck went through the ice just a few feet off shore. The DNR called it in Monday morning after finding the vehicle abandoned.

Police say it is the driver's responsibility to call a tow company to get the car off the ice or out of the lake if it falls in.

Waseca County Sheriff Brad Milbrath says, "Several tow companies will actually specialize in that. They'll have their own dive team and people to go under water because you'll have to have them hook that up."

Police are still trying to track down the owners of the vehicle.
