A group of Tulsa area students put their math and science skills to the test ...underwater.

Students are making their underwater submarines out of p–v–c pipe, foam, and an empty tub of sour cream.

Then – with help of naval academy engineers – their final products will be judged on things like speed and functionality.

Competition aside –the event has made learning science, technology, engineering and math exciting for these students.
