Neighbors say they are both saddened and confused by the ordeal. One neighbor who was home during the incident told News 12 she could hear law enforcement trying to communicate with whoever was in the home. "They wanted him to come out and they wanted him to know that they didn't want to hurt out, but I didn't hear any response to it or anything and then after they were trying to coax him to come outside then I heard a couple more shots and then they all started shooting."
