A big gift for MSU... A former MSU professor donates a significant amount of money towards the university's College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. The school dedicated its map library to donor and former Geography professor Dr. Mary Dooley for her generous donation. At Dooley's request the actual amount of the endowments is not listed. Part of Dooley's gift will endow the development of collections in the University Map Library. Another endowment will be set aside for will go towards scholarships, fieldwork and research.
