A 9-month-old girl remains in critical condition after her family's SUV went through the ice on Lake Minnetonka.
The Associated Press reports the girl was transferred from a Waconia to Children's hospital in Minneapolis.
The Hennepin County Sheriff says the girl's father was driving his family home from a restaurant Friday at about 5:00 P.M. Apparently the dad decided to take a shortcut across the ice on the way home to Minnetrista. That's when the vehicle went through ice.
The sheriff says there are indications the driver was drinking, although definitive blood test results are not yet available.
The other family members were also treated, and are expected to survive
