Power is back on for all customers left without juice after an outage Thursday afternoon.
Xcel Energy says about 3,366 customers were affected across parts of Mankato, North Mankato, Kasota and St. Peter.
The outage prompted South Central College in North Mankato and Rasmussen College in Mankato, to cancel afternoon and evening classes; those classes resume Friday morning.
Representatives from Xcel say they've traced the problem to a burned up switch center.
