A 27 year old St. Peter man was arrested Thursday night after what police described as a short pursuit.
The Mankato Department of Public Safety says officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot just after 9:30 Thursday night. That parking lot was on the 1200 block of South Riverfront Drive. Authorities say the vehicle left at a high rate of speed near Riverfront Drive and Highway 169, but pulled over a short time later.
Police arrested Gary Stillwell of St. Peter. Officials say three children under the age of six were in the vehicle. They are requesting charges of Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle, Driving After Revocation of a License, and Child Endangerment.
