Area boy scouts wanted to do their part for those lost in the mass shooting, particularly two Cub Scout families and a Venture Crew Teacher from Sandy Hook Elementary, by raising money to send to the families. Eagle Scout Michael Weber says, "Cub scouts and boy scouts are a closely knit groups and being an eagle scout feel that I should be able to give my time to them to help support them.
