NORTH MANKATO, Minn. -
For some people, getting dental work done is an expensive luxury they can't afford.
However, kids in need could get it for free across the state Friday and Saturday.
For over 10 years, the "give kids a smile" program has been putting healthy smiles on the faces of Minnesota's children in need by providing free dental work to kids whose families can't afford to pay. North Mankato Family Dentistry was among 5 local clinics that participated in the event, helping out hundreds of kids.
Dr. Angela Schuck with North Mankato Family Dentistry said, "We have everything for checkups X–rays cleanings to fillings extractions, any type of need that they have, we are here to help them with everything."
If your child needs dental work, MSU's Dental Clinic will we be giving free service Friday until 8 PM and again Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
