MSU Wrestling Improves To 6-0 In NSIC, Beat SMSU 25-9

The MSU wrestling team has been on a tear since the NSIC schedule started.
The 10th ranked Mavericks are undefeated in the conference and tonight were looking to make it 6-0 with Southwest Minnesota State visiting.  The Mavs got out to a 14-0 lead before the Mustangs took the next two decisions including Jacob Begin getting a 8-3 decision over 3rd ranked Cody Quinn at 165 pounds.  The two teams would split the next two matches, and MSU would put it away at 197 with a 12-0 major decision for Madelia native Nathan Haynes, as the Mavericks go on to win the dual 25-9.
