The U.S. Government is suing credit rating agency Standard and Poor's. The Justice Department says the company mislead investors knowingly, giving high ratings to mortgage bonds that then plunged in value and contributed to the 2008 financial crisis. S & P denies any wrongdoing. The government is reportedly seeking more than a billion dollars in penalties.
