A Fairfax man is facing 23 counts of criminal-sexual conduct in Nicollet County.
Officials say the investigation involving Troy Matthew Berger spans Renville, Sibley, and Nicollet Counties.
Right now, authorities say the 37-year-old is being held in the Sibley County jail. The Nicollet County Sheriff's Office says there are three victims altogether, with current ages of: 13, 11, and 8.
Officials say the victims and the alleged assailant know each other.
Kip Olson with the Nicollet County Sheriff's Department says, "It is disturbing when you see the number of incidents, and like I say, he's been charged with 23 counts, 8 first degree, and 15 second degree."
Berger is scheduled to appear in Sibley County court Thursday to face charges in connection with the alleged crimes.
An initial appearance in Nicollet County has not yet been set.
