OLIVIA, Minn -

27–year–old John Anderson was visiting his cousin in the apartment building when he noticed some smoke coming out from a neighbor's door. He immediately pulled the fire alarm and helped residents get out of the apartment building. Anderson says, "Definitely never experienced anything like that. Hopefully will never have to do it again."

Fire officials say the fire was contained to one apartment, although 15 additional units have smoke damage. The Red Cross is assisting the 15 people who are temporarily displaced by the fire.
