Mankato, Minnesota -

Blizzard conditions meant some pretty rough driving conditions across the state. Minnesota State Patrol reports more than 700 cars slid off the road since Sunday morning. In addition to that 700, the state had more than 350 car accidents. Now of those accidents, there were 57 personal injuries but no fatalities. Mankato's district fared well compared to the statewide numbers, State Patrol reporting 25 cars going off the roadway in the seven-county district. However, the dangerous driving conditions didn't prevent folks from driving drunk. State patrol saying 27 DWI's were issued in the past 24 hours.
