ST. PAUL, Minn. -
A St. Paul Police K9 officer is dead after being stabbed during an attempted arrest yesterday afternoon. Police say 9-year-old Kody was stabbed multiple times after entering a home. The suspect was then shot by police and killed. Kody and his partner, Officer Dave Longbehn, were part of the Northstar Fugitive Task Force. The pair had worked together for 7 years. The task force had an arrest warrant for Alden Anderson of St. Louis, Missouri. Anderson was wanted for criminal sexual conduct. Kody found him in the basement, and police say the suspect stabbed him multiple times.
