Patricia Hoffman of MSU-Mankato talked with News 12 about an upcoming program meant to spur discussion about the value of a liberal arts education – why it's needed, and what it brings to the work world.

There will be a series of discussions coming up towards the end of February as well as in March and April.  The series will culminate with a discussion with author Martha Nussbaum, who wrote the book, "Not for Profit:  Why Democracy Needs the Humanities"

That will be September 23rd at MSU.
