The Minnesota State High School Wrestling regular season is over and the section meets are underway.
Today wrapped up the team tournaments to choose which squad would represent their sections at state.
The section 2-A semi-finals and championships were held in New Richland where JCC and United South Central met for the title.
The Rebels closed it to a one point match after Derek Herman beat Dylan Riggle 10-5 at 138 pounds. The Huskies would pull away from there as Paden Moore, Luke Norland, Keegan Moore, and Darick Vancura got four consecutive pins to put JCC up 25. USC would win two more matches, but Jackson County Central claims their 4th straight title 49-19. K-M-S upset Wabasso/Red Rock Central for the 3A title 30-26. In section 4A top seeded LCWM would be taken out by Windom/Mountain Lake in the semifinal, but the Cobras would fall to Sibley East in the championship 38-23.
