A two-vehicle crash on state highway 60 in Blue Earth County seriously injured 4 people.
The crash was reported at 3:35 A.M. on Saturday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 1983 Honda Civic driven by Amy L Weinandt, 18 of St. Peter collided head-on with a 1991 Chevy truck driven 21-year-old Kyle Allen of Webster, MN. Weinandt had 3 other passengers in the car with her at the time of the collision.
According to the state patrol, the Civic, driven by Weinandt was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane at the time of the crash.
Authorities say both drivers had alcohol in their system at the time of the crash.
23-year-old Michael Fletcher of Mankato was a passenger in the Honda Civic, and sustained serious injuries. It is not known if he was wearing a seatbelt.
Sebastian Gilbertson, 20 of Mankato was also riding in the Civic and sustained serious injuries. It is not known if Gilbertson was using a seatbelt, according to the state patrol's report.
19-year-old Tyler Cluka of Kasota was also riding in the Civic and sustained serious injuries. It is unknown if Cluka was using a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
