There's no shortage of anglers at supply stores.
News 12 found a number of fisherman at Scheel's Sunday afternoon in Mankato. Store spokespeople say they're keeping busy as customers have being buying up fishing rods and panfish tackle.
"We've definitely been busy, business has been really good for us this year, especially with the better ice conditions that we've had in the past," said Brian Bisek of Scheel's. " We've had a lot of foot traffic, a lot of people coming in."
Scheel's employees say portable ice shelters have also been a consistent hot commodity this ice fishing season as well.
