Minneapolis, MN -
Firefighters had to battle those freezing temperatures as well as intense flames overnight in Minneapolis. This huge fire broke out around 1:15 this morning at Northern Metal Recycling, near Broadway and Washington. It grew very fast and burned a hole through the roof. There is an apartment building just next to the warehouse, and firefighters were able to keep it from spreading. No one was hurt. The temperature at the time was nine degrees, but with the windchill, it felt like negative ten. No word yet on the cause.
