An investigation is underway to find out what caused a deadly explosion in Kansas City Missouri. One body has been found. But officials are still searching the rubble. The explosion and fire has injured at least 15 people, some critically.
Rescue crews are searching through the blackened rubble of a popular Kansas City, Missouri Restaurant for a missing worker. An explosion leveled J-J's and damaged several buildings in the surrounding area Tuesday night. Officials say the task of trying to find the missing woman is proving to be very difficult. Flames ripped through the popular shopping area just before the dinner-time rush. Witnesses say they smelled gas. Fire officials confirm there was an accident at a construction site about an hour before the blast.
The explosion and fire injured at least 14 people, some critically. A major winter storm is expected to hit the area Wednesday night. So, city officials say they are working fast to find the missing woman and collect evidence that will help with an investigation. Adriana Diaz, CBS News.
