Three Eagles Communication teams up with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to get local support for finding a cure for cancer.
Through a radiothon, KYSM, Z99, and The River are all taking to the airwaves to get donations for the research hospital.
St. Jude's is recognized internationally for its work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other life- threatening diseases.
Regional Director for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Amanda Cahow says, "St. Jude really operates almost entirely on public contributions so fundraisers like this are really vital to what we are able to accomplish."
The radiothon continues Friday from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. The number to call is 1-800-303-1135.
Last year, the station and its listeners raised over $40,000. They're hoping to surpass that amount this year.
