An update to a story we first reported last month –a St. Peter man is arrested in connection with an alleged assault. 30 year-old, Jacob John Friedrichs is in Blue Earth County Jail for his alleged involvement in the January 9th assault of Gary Stillwell. According to the criminal complaint, on January 8th, Ashley Stillwell had an argument with her husband about bills and walked out of their house. She returned the next morning, accompanied by two men who beat her husband with aluminum bats in front of three young children. Friedrichs faces two counts of 2nd Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. A court date has not been set.
