A Ceylon woman dies after a two-car accident on the west edge of Fairmont yesterday. The Martin County Sheriff's office reports 65 year old Linda Hoppe lost control on Highway 26 around 3:20 and collided with a second vehicle driven by 31 year old Ryan Johnson of Fairmont. According to authorities, Hoppe died at the scene, Johnson was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
