Mankato authorities say a MSU student was robbed early Friday morning.

Officials say it happened around 1:00 A.M. The Department of Public Safety says a man was walking along Stadium Road near the intersection of Heron Drive.

At one point, authorities say the victim was approached by two black males, who demanded the victim empty his pockets.

Authorities say no weapons were involved, but the victim did receive non life-threatening injuries after being assaulted.

Police say the man had some type of I.D. taken from him during the incident.

The suspects then fled the scene in a light-colored car.
