MANKATO, MN -
An 18 year old faces charges for allegedly trying to steal quarters from a truck parked in Mankato. Mankato Public Safety says at about 8:30 Saturday night, the truck's owner reported seeing Jeremiah Reinhardt Mooney trying to take a bag of quarters out of his vehicle at 111 Lind Court. He then tried to take the bag away from Mooney Police arrived a short time later and Mooney was arrested without incident. Requested charges are robbery, fifth degree assault, underage consumption, theft and tampering of a motor vehicle.
