Zookeepers in Cincinnati are taking a new approach to get their baby gorillas accustomed to their new parents.
The baby gorillas arriving from Texas... But before they can transition to their surrogate gorilla moms... Zookeepers are giving the babies human parents.
Nurses and staff at the Cincinnati zoo will hold, clean, and nurture the babies twenty–four–hours a day... until they are given over to their new gorilla parents.
There's a four–to–five month transition period where they hope their babies will acclimate to their new surroundings well.
