Bail for the man accused of stealing a bag full of quarters from a parked vehicle is set at one–hundred–thousand dollars without conditions or 50–thousand dollars with conditions.
18 year–old Jeremiah Mooney, who has no known address, was in Blue Earth County court late yesterday afternoon.
Mooney was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly stole a bag of quarters from a truck parked at 111 Lind Court.
The victim told police that he tried to stop Mooney, but Mooney allegedly assaulted him and tried to leave with the money.
A short while later, police arrived and detained Mooney without incident.
Mooney remains in Blue Earth County Jail. He is due back in court on March 14th to face two counts of felony robbery.
