A change to the so-called "slayers bill" has passed the Minnesota State Senate this afternoon. The House version of the bill, sponsored by State Rep. Tony Cornish (R-Good Thunder), was driven by a local murder case.

Taylor's lecture is free and open to the public and is part of the annual Morgan Thomas Executive Lecture Series. He graduated from MSU Mankato in 1962 with a degree in mathematics.
The purpose of the event is for business professionals to share information about their careers, professions, lessons learned and trends. Before Taylor got involved in Business he wanted to be a teacher. Taylor says the key to success is to enjoy what you do.
Glen Taylor says, "It's important that no matter what your job is that you love it.
So even though I thought I was going to be a teacher that's probably what I ended up doing in like. I'm a teacher at work to help other people become successful."
Student in the College of Business, Matthew Lindquist says, "Mr. Taylor is a phenomenal speaker. I've heard him speak and when I heard he was coming I was really excited because I hope to gather a lot of information about what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur."
Taylor Corporation, one of the largest privately held companies. Glen Taylor whose net worth is listed at $1.7 billion ranks 285th on the Forbes 400.
