Le Center, MN -
Bail is set at $100,000 bond or $10,000 cash for the St. Peter man who is accused of fleeing authorities last Friday night. According to the Le Sueur County Attorney, 31 year–old Adam Joseph Willaert drove without a valid license and reached speeds of up to 95 miles an hour in an attempt to evade law enforcement. Officials say based on this incident and Willaert's criminal history, he is a "dangerous person".
Willaert remains in the Le Sueur County Jail. He will be in court on March 12th to face one felony charge of Fleeing a Peace Officer and five other charges related to the incident.
Willaert faces the same felony charge in Blue Earth County for his alleged involvement in a chase that happened in Mankato on February 26th.
