Police in Oregon City, Oregon were called about a beaver walking across McLoughlin Boulevard away from the river.
The beaver had made it through traffic, appeared to be lost and was walking towards headlights every time it saw them.
An officer tried using a pole/noose to catch the beaver, but quickly figured out the easiest way to get the critter to water was by simply herding it to a nearby Creek.
It took several officers about 40 minutes.
Once near the creek, the beaver scuttled down the bank, into the water and swam off.
