NEW ULM, Minn. -

Visitors to the 32nd annual historic trade fair in New Ulm took a step back in time.

Antique firearms, blacksmithing items, and clothing were among the many products displayed--all items that you would have been able to find in this area back in the fur trade era.

More than 100 vendors from the 5-state area came to not only sell their items, but also give visitors a history lesson.

Organizer Michael Emery says, "Everybody is usually willing to talk about the history of the material, if people have questions about what something was used for or how it was used there's people to help answer those questions. [It's] just a good place to learn about the history that went on in this area during that time period."

You can check out the trade fair Sunday from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. at Turner Hall in New Ulm.
