Electronic pulltabs are still well behind in sales compared to their cardboard counterparts.

At the Boxcar Bar in Waseca, electronic pulltabs are lacking in sales as well compared to paper pulltabs. The bar's owner says the establishment has had the electronic games for about three months now.

"I still think that the cardboard (games) are more popular, although people are trying it(electronic pulltabs)...they sample it, and it's growing, but still it's not close to the cardboard ones," said Todd Schmidt, owner of the Boxcar Bar.

Schmidt says statewide bingo will soon be rolled out onto the electronic machines. He says that might improve the popularity of the gaming devices.
