MANKATO, MN -
Mankato Public Safety is still working to identify and locate two people who robbed a business at gunpoint just before Christmas.
It happened December 18th , at the Luxe Salon on North Riverfront Drive in Mankato. Witnesses there told police two black males entered the business, showed a handgun and demanded money. After getting the money, the suspects fled the scene on foot. The following day, police notified neighboring business owners to be on guard. Today, police continue their search for the two men. Mankato Public Safety, Detective Commander, Matt DuRose, said,"We've recovered some of the evidence. And continuing to work that to see if we can identify somebody. We have not identified anybody yet. No arrests have been made. But, certainly an open investigation until we can figure out who did that." One suspect is described as being approximately 5–foot, 9–inches to 5–foot, 10–inches tall with a stocky build. The other suspect is described as 6–foot to 6–foot, 2–inches tall.
