Finnegans hosted it's first pub–crawl in Mankato tonight. The Irish Amber brew is known for being the first beer to donate 100 percent of its profits back into the community. Money donated to support Harvest for the Hungry, which provides fresh produce to community food shelves. Raising funds for the Mankato Salvation Army, organizers say they hope to make this pub crawl an annual event.
Last year, the company's Mankato chapter donated more than $12,000 to area food shelves. Tonight organizers hope to raise enough money to provide more than a thousand pounds of fresh produce for the Mankato Salvation Army.
