A zoo in Indonesia recently welcomed seven baby Komodo dragons. Important because they are an endangered species. There are only about 3,000 Komodo dragons in existence. The babies have not yet been named as their genders are still unknown. Baby Komodo dragons weigh about 5-6 ounces each and when full grown they can be more than 10 feet and weigh up to 220 pounds. The life expectancy of a Komodo dragons is generally between 20 to 40 years and they are listed as endangered species.
