Madison Lake Man Accused Of Fleeing Police Posts $5,000 Bail

The Madison Lake  man accused of fleeing authorities in Le Sueur County is out on bail. According to court records, 24-year-old, Joshua William Lee Nikoley posted $5,000 cash bail after a hearing this morning. Nikoley is the suspect in an alleged incident in Le Sueur County on Saturday night. A Le Sueur County Sheriff's Deputy tried to stop a white Ford Mustang for speeding, but the driver tried to flee instead. Officials say the chase reached speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour. Authorities say Nikoley eventually crashed the Mustang and was arrested. He is due back in court tomorrow to face one felony charge of fleeing police and five misdemeanor charges related to the alleged pursuit.
