Memorial services are set for the Iowa soldier who died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. The U.S. Defense Department said 27 year-old Staff Sergeant, Steven Blass, of Estherville, was one of five soldiers killed in the March 11th crash. Visitation for Staff Sergeant Blass is set for Monday, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Estherville High School Gym. According to the school's website, there will be no classes held on Tuesday as they prepare for the funeral which is set for 2 p.m. Blass is survived by his wife and their 16-month old son.
