Texas mass shot gunman identified

The gunman who opened fire in the America State of Texas, killing 7 and injuring many other people, has been recognized, police said.

The shooting – that the 38th mass killing by guns in the US this season – happened on Saturday from the West Texas cities of Midland and Odessa.

The shooter was recognized as a 36-year-old community guy called Seth Aaron Ator, authorities said. Ator opened fire about 3 pm (local time) after he had been pulled over by traffic officers.

The driver then started shooting other people in a lot of different locations. At one stage, he left his vehicle and stole a postal truck before his spree. He had been shot dead by police in a theater complex.

“As national agents combine the investigation into this mass shooting occurred, we’ve heard more about the gunman,” the government said.

The police spent Sunday combing through over 15 crime scenes and hunting Ator’s house and automobile.

“However working to ascertain the reason for the shooting. He utilized an AR-style weapon throughout the 10-mile lengthy shooting spree,” authorities said.

Steve LeSueur, the Odessa police spokesman, stated that one individual remains in”life-threatening” condition.”
